A lot of times when people first experiment with CBD they claim that the CBD isn’t working for them or that it’s “just a scam.” The real reason CBD doesn’t always work right away is because the process of finding the right way to incorporate CBD in your routine is a marathon, not a sprint.

Where are you getting your CBD?

Now that CBD has become so popular, it’s popping up everywhere! From grocery stores to snack bars, you can find CBD just about anywhere now. That being said, it’s easier to get low quality products since CBD products aren’t FDA approved.

Some scammers are selling low quality CBD products that aren’t properly labeled. They’re also producing products made with hemp SEED oil which  isn’t even CBD at all. When purchasing CBD you should always check that it has been tested by a third-party lab. You also should make sure you’re reading reviews and checking that the CBD your purchasing is coming from a reputable source. At Pure Synergistics we make sure that we’re giving you the highest quality CBD and that you are fully informed about what your consuming. After all, we trust our products and want you to trust them too.

How often are you using CBD?

CBD is similar to a vitamin supplement, in the way that you don’t get magical results as soon as you take it. It needs sometime to build up in your system and you also need to be taking the right dosage. The best way to take CBD is to start with a low dose and be consistent. If you’re taking it every day and still notice no effect, up your dosage so that you can find what works for you. All of our bodies are different and react in different ways. Find what works best for you! Remember it can take a few weeks to a month to finally feel the great effects from CBD so be patient! Good things take time.

Are you taking the right form?

CBD can be found in everything nowadays! From gummies to tinctures to balms there is no limit on what can contain CBD at this point. But that doesn’t mean every form will work for every person! If you’re someone who has localized pain then maybe instead of the tincture it’s time to try the balm. If you’re more interested in the overall impact maybe instead of taking digestible CBD products such as gummies and edibles its time to switch to tinctures.

When you consume CBD in an edible form it has to breakdown in your digestive system first. By using the tincture though you’re putting the product under your tongue which is absorbed directly into your bloodstream.

Everyone’s different.

Be patient with your CBD practice. Trust that your time will come if you follow these guidelines to using CBD. Pay attention to how much you’re taking, when you’re taking it, and how you’re taking it. Switch things up every now and again to see if it sparks any change.
